William James Sheets passed away Aug. 2, 2018 in Victorville, CA. He was born Sept 13, 1940 Frankfort, IN to Fred and Elizabeth Sheets. After graduating from Rossville High School in 1958 he served in the Marines from 1958 -1962. On Sept 25, 1962 he married Yaeko Fukushima in Okinawa, Japan and she survives.
He co-founded Marquette Gas Analysis (which was later sold to General Electric) and was also a self-published author.
He is survived by his wife Yaeko Sheets of Victorville, CA, daughter Nina (Dan) Poersch of Palmdale, CA, grandchildren: Michael (Jessica) Zang, Jacob Poersch and Christa Busse and great-grandchildren: Emilee, Carson and Cayden. A sister Dena (Michael) Lukasik also survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son James Neal Sheets.
Private family services will be held Aug 11, 2018 in Victorville, CA.
