William L. “Bill” Holt

William L. “Bill” Holt, of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late Mary Holt; cherished son of the late Addison Berry “Jack” and Maude Marie “Marie” Holt; devoted father of Kim (P.J.) Sheridan; loving grandfather of Laird Sheridan; and dear brother of Mary Hollis, Fern Johnson, and the late Cathy Smith.
Bill proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from General Motors after many years of dedicated work. He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #2587 in O’Fallon, Missouri. Bill loved being involved in horse racing and cheering on St. Louis sports teams. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s honor to the Wounded Warrior Project.
