William Lee Thornton, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Monday, December 8, 2008 at the age of 52. Dear son of the late William L. and the late Marilyn Jane Thornton; cherished brother of Nancy (Donald) Veney, James (Renee) G. Thornton, Susan Thomas and Vickie (Robert Cottingham) Thornton; treasured uncle of Jessica, Johnny, Ian, Adam, Danielle, Austin, Madison, Whiteney, Danielle, David, Kaite, Brenden, Taylor, Hayden, Jada, Parker and Lily. William is preceded in death by his beloved dog Sniffels. He was employed as a machinist was a member of VFW, DAV and Search, Inc.
