William Meder

William Harold Meder, of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Mariko K. Meder; cherished son of the late Harold J. and Margaret D. Meder; devoted father of Barbara (Rich) Kiel and Carolyn (Ron McCracken) Meder; loving grandfather of Anthony "Tony" Meder, Jeremy Kiel, Brandi Kiel and Brooke Kiel; dear brother of Devane (Phil) Nielsen and Julianne (Steve) Sesti; William is also preceded in death by longtime friend, Rich Starmann.

William proudly and honorably served in the United States Navy. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and was very active in St. Barnabas Catholic Church. William was an extremely kind and generous person. He enjoyed the company of his friends and met his coffee and breakfast gang frequently. William was a wonderful provider for his family and had a great work ethic. He retired from Monsanto/MEMC after dedicating more than 40 years to the business. Most important to William, was his loving wife and family. He was exceedingly proud of them. William was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in William's name to Society of St. Vincent DePaul.
