William R. “Bill” Halter, age 82 of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018. Beloved husband of Lottie “Lorraine” Halter; cherished son of the late Raymond and Bessie Halter; devoted father of Steven Wayne Halter, Deborah Lorraine (The late Jeff) Durante, and Gary William (Sherry) Halter; bonus son Greg Fuller; loving grandfather of Stevie, Abby, Steven, Sarah, April, Angela, Peter, Gary Robert, and Michael; treasured great-grandfather of Jordan, Madisyn, Emma, and Sadie; dear brother of Kenneth Halter; beloved brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many.
Bill is preceded in death by his son Raymond Dale Halter.
Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a devoted family man. Bill enjoyed his retirement, he loved watching westerns and movie classics, working in his yard, feeding the birds and fishing. Bill was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
