William R. “Bill” Mersman

William R. "Bill" Mersman, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at the age of 81. Loving husband of the late Joyce Clara Mersman; beloved son of the late William and Marie Mersman; devoted father of Diane (Bill) Curley, Joy (Ron) Sams, and Michael (Ellen) Mersman; cherished grandfather of Amanda (Justin) Foust, Allyson Granden, Amber (J.C.) Bordeaux, Erica (John) Barton, Jeremy (Mandy) Wandling, Chad  Sams, April Wandling, Makenzie Mersman, and Makayla Mersman; treasured great-grandfather of Brayden, Keegan, and Jordyn Foust, Leo and Carly Barton, Ella and Adeline Granden, Kolten and Karsen  Bordeaux, and Ellie Jo Wandling; dear brother of Dan (Lin) Mersman; beloved uncle, step-grandfather, step great-grandfather, and friend to many. Bill is also preceded in death by his sister, Betty Haas.

Bill was a member of Cement Masons Local #527 for many years. Then he became the owner of Res-Com Contractors Inc. He was also a member of St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St Charles. Bill was a devoted husband of 56 years to his late wife Joyce. He loved his family dearly. Bill was a hard-working and kind man that would do anything for anyone. Bill was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in William's name to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church or Masses.
