William Philip Rebello Sr., age 86 of O’Fallon, MO, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024.
He was born on October 7, 1937, St. Louis to the late William and Bernadina (Kehoe) Rebello.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Gabbert) Rebello, of almost 66 years, daughter, Janice (Peter) Pless, son, Bill (Karla) Rebello, son, Paul (Katie) Rebello, and daughter, Diane (Chris) Hammerstone, 10 grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, 1 brother, and 3 sisters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Tina (Rebello) Cloedy, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
He served in the Army, receiving the good conduct medal and commendations for rifle marksmanship, combine sharpshooter, and expert sub machine gun shooter. He participated in the Senior Olympics for 24 years, receiving numerous medals. He was an avid bowler and golfer for over 50 years.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
He loved being with family and friends and will be missed by all who loved him.
