Beloved husband of 59 years to Velma Williams; dear son of late Susan Melton; devoted father of Debbie Carter and Patricia (Brad) Pierce; proud grandfather of Nick Carter, Ryan Carter, Michael E. Carter, Chad Carter and Amanda (Michael) Geisler; dear brother of Pat (Les) McClain and the late Andrew Williams; he was our dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. William was the owner of Century 21 Pettus for over 50 years. He was a member of the St. Louis Association of Realtors, past President of St. Louis Association of Realtors and a US Navy WWII Veteran.
