William A. Wipfler

William A. Wipfler, of St. Peters, MO, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Wanda J. Wipfler; cherished son of the late Josephine Marie and Leonard Francis Wipfler; devoted father of Frank (Barbara) Wipfler, Janice (Mike) Willis, Gina (Bryan) Suttory, and the late David A. Wipfler; loving grandfather of Chelsea Wipfler, Zachariah Wipfler, Alexandria (Deion) Summers, Bryce Suttory, Ashtyn Suttory, Camdyn Suttory, and Brooklynn Suttory. Dear great grandfather of Everett, Ellyson and soon, Colter. William was preceded in death by his siblings.

William dedicated twenty years of his life to honorable service in the U.S. Air Force, where he served with pride. Following his military career, he applied his expertise as a meteorologist at the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Association. Beyond his professional achievements, he found immense joy in his family, particularly in caring for his beloved grandchildren. He supported his children and grandchildren at sporting events, school performances, and he coached soccer. He loved watching his grandchildren play and compete. William's presence was cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his absence leaves a profound void in their lives.

Memorials may be made in William's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
