Wilma “Billie” Frances Empert
(nee Penney) age 83, of Saint Peters, Missouri, November 12, 2017.
Beloved wife of the late Thaddeus J. Empert; cherished daughter of the late William F. Penney and Vivian G. Johnson; devoted mother of Marc (Pam) Empert, Colleen (Calvin) Clayson, Terry (Bernard) Wilkerson and Dale (Mary) Empert; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; dear brother of Thomas Penney and other relatives and friends.
Wilma is also preceded in death by brother Richard Penney, sisters Lois Keener and Corrine “Cory” Pollard and great-grandson Gregory Clayson.
Wilma was born in Chicago Illinois, but grew up in Santa Barbara California. She retired from the Post Office, was a 4H Leader and a Cub Scout leader. Billie was a supporter of the SPCA, she grew up around horses and loved riding them. She loved classic movies, classic TV shows, coloring in adult coloring books, reading and painting. Billie had the most beautiful smile, was deeply loved, and will be immensely missed by all who knew her.
