Storm, Wilma E. (nee: Frantz), 89, of St. Peters, MO., passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at the Villages of St. Peters, MO. She was born March 7, 1928, on a farm in Atlanta, Illinois, to Elbert and Anna Frantz. She married Dr. Clifford N. Storm, a family physician in St. Peters, on November 14, 1947, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her two sons Dr. B. Ray (Jan nee: Hollis) Storm and C. Todd (Jeanne nee: Sachs) Storm; two granddaughters Dr. Susanna Storm and Kathryn Storm; two grandsons Chad and Brad Storm; and two great-grandchildren Andrew and Edie Storm.
Wilma is preceded in death by two sons Mark and Jerry Storm, her mother Anna (nee: Graham) and father Elbert, and two sisters and three brothers.
Wilma was a long-time resident of St. Peters. She was founding member and very active in the St. Charles Christian Church until 2000 and founder and active volunteer for many years in the Auxiliary at the St. Peters Hospital (Barnes St. Peters).
She will long be remembered as a lover of dogs, angels, cheeseburgers, chocolate milkshakes, and Cardinal baseball. Her cookies were to die for, her bowling was awed by many, and her love for her husband and family was a driving force in the Storm household. She drove poorly until the car keys could be wrestled from her aging hands and was never timid about telling you what she thought. If she liked you, she told you. If she didn’t, you had no doubt where she stood. And most of all, no one changed the channel on her TV or the station on her radio without unexpected consequences. Her family loved her and will long miss her daily antics. She wants everyone to know she’s with her angels, now.
