Wilma M. Ward, 81, of Overland Park, KS, passed away March 16, 2012, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Wilma was born April 24, 1930 to Joseph and Beulah (Barks) Wright. She married Joseph Raleigh Ward in Piggott Arkansas on November 8, 1947. She lived in St. Louis, MO, St. Charles MO, Platte City, MO, Kansas City MO and Overland Park, KS. Wilma was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Church in St. Charles, MO. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed Holiday get togethers. Wilma enjoyed playing card games like Pinochle and Gin Rummy and was proud of her Faith. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers; Lloyd, Loren, Carroll and Clyde. Sisters; Bernice and Gerry. She is survived by: Her sons Jim Ward (Connie) of Mexico, MO and Ken Ward (Susan) of Platte City, MO, Daughters; Linda Wagganer (the late Ed Wagganer) of Kansas City, MO, Shirley Papendick (Sonny) of Platte City, MO, Sam Sullivan (Rich) of Tulsa OK, Debbie Jasper of Wentzville, MO, fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Memorials may be made in honor of Wilma to the American Cancer Society or the Charity of the Donors Choice.
