Winona Blohm (nee Heitmann) of St. Charles, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the age of 102.
Beloved wife of the late Vincent Blohm of 64 years, cherished daughter of the late Friederich and Marie Heitmann.
Devoted mother of Sharon (Vince) Luetkenhaus and Janet (John) Boerding.
Loving grandmother of six – Donna (Gregory) Owen, Robert (Angela) Luetkenhaus, Catherine (Joseph) Rohrbacker, Michael (Lori) Luetkenhaus, Jeffery (Jennifer) Boerding, and James (Dawn) Boerding.
Treasured great-grandmother of thirteen – Marie (Stephen) Baker, Gloria, Friederich, and Charles Owen, Anne, Joseph, London and Quinn Luetkenhaus, Zachery, Andrew, Elizabeth, Jessica, and Shelby Boerding. Many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was “Grandma Blohm” to many.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Little, and twin great-granddaughters, Julie and Abigail.
Winona loved to bake cakes and made many wedding cakes over the years. She lived on a farm all her life and always had a garden and many flowers. She was a 4-H leader many years ago and was a member of the St. Charles County Farm Bureau Board. Her and her husband loved to travel. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and loved to go to breakfast after church. She loved seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and went to all their school and sporting events. She will be missed by many.
Memorial contributions in Winona’s name may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran General Fund.
