Yvonne “Evie” E. Danson
May 8, 1933 — January 5, 2020
Yvonne “Evie” E. Danson, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020 at the age of 86. Preceded in death by parents, Wilmer and Ethel Courtney, and son Marty Danson. Yvonne was proud and loved raising Marty’s daughter, Amy.
Beloved wife of William ”Bill” R. Danson; devoted mother of Bob (Tina) Danson, Don (Dawn) Danson, Tom (Gia) Danson; mother-in-law of Joy Danson; Yvonne is survived by a wealth of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loving friend to all who knew her.
In her free time Yvonne loved gardening, her favorite flowers included Day Lilies and Irises. She also enjoyed antiquing with Bill where they accumulated many unique items. Yvonne’s family has fond memories of spending time camping across the country, she was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Yvonne's name to St. Louis Botanical Gardens or Faith United Methodist Church.
