Haley, Zula Maye, of O'Fallon, Missouri, died on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the age of 90. The seventh of eleven children, born to Charley and Nora 'Ethel' Counts. Loving wife of the late James Haley; devoted mother of Marcia Haley and Marlene (Robert) Wussler; cherished grandmother of Kelli (Walter) Hilgendorf and Melissa Wussler; treasured great-grandmother of Jordan Wussler, Ryan Hilgendorf, Mckenna Hilgendorf, and Mallory Hilgendorf; dear sister of Betty (Bill) Poole; cherished life long friend of Myrtle Bolte; also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her siblings Glenn Counts, Lois Cherry, Doris Cherry, Homer Counts, Kenneth Counts, Blanche Brown, Oma Blair, Wilma Hillhouse, and Mary Petrey.
Mrs. Haley devoted her life to being a wife, mother, and housewife. She was known for her beautiful sewing and needlework, home cooking, and the loving care of her family. Mrs. Haley was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Ferguson and Harvester Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
